Plan #420 Clyde Puffer + Coastal Steamer Double Plan

Aschi’s Workshop wooden toy waterline model double plan #420 includes two classic vessels: the Clyde Puffer and the Coastal Steamer.

Hailing from the legendary waters of Scotland’s River Clyde, the Clyde Puffer and its sister ship, the Coastal Steamer, are beloved icons of maritime history. Originally constructed to navigate the Forth and Clyde Canal, these compact, coal-powered cargo boats served as vital transport links for coastal and island communities in western Scotland and the Hebrides for nearly 100 years.

Our waterline model plans recreate these historic ships in detailed miniature form. Designed for quick and enjoyable assembly, they’re perfect for both novice and experienced woodworkers alike.

Whether displayed on a desk or used as a nostalgic toy, these delightful models capture the enduring charm of a bygone era at sea.
